Attendees will learn how basic SAS PROCedures such as PRINT and FORMS produce detail reports; CHART, FREQ, MEANS, PLOT, and UNIVARIATE summarize and create graphical, tabular, and statistical output; and SORT and DATASETS to manipulate one or more columns of data and manage data libraries; Additional topics such as useful techniques for informing the SAS System which data set to use as input to a procedure, how to subset data using a WHERE statement (or WHERE= clause), and how to perform BY-group processing to separate data into groups of like information will be explored.
