Student Scholarship Program
The goal of the annual PNWSUG conference is to provide opportunities for educational growth, training, and networking of conference attendees. Students attending the conference can also learn more about the diversity of industries that use SAS and the variety of career paths for SAS professionals. In order to further these goals, the PNWSUG Executive Committee and SAS® is providing scholarships to full-time or half-time college or university undergraduate or graduate students to attend the PNWSUG 2011 Conferences in Seattle (Sept 19) or Portland (Sept 21).
The scholarship allows conference registration for a nominal $25 fee, which will be refunded at the conference, and free admission to one (1) pre-conference training class. Assistance with travel and lodging at the conference hotel may be available – please contact the conference registrar for details (registrar@pnwsug.org). Students are encouraged to volunteer at the conference as a session coordinator (e.g., introduce speakers, time presentations), registration desk helper or a speaker. Please indicate your willingness to help on the application form.
