The SAS/GRAPH GMAP procedure is a versatile tool for making maps in SAS. This paper describes a work-around for a known bug when importing Census 2000 ZCTA boundaries with MAPIMPORT, and on the way it illustrates a few basics of GMAP and related mapping procedures.
