The SAS R language provides methods to evaulate logical expressions which then allow conditional execution of parts of programs. In cases where logical expressions contain combinations of intersection (and), negation (not), and union (or) users and later readers doing maintenance may legitimately and thoughtfully question whether the expression is correct.
